In a small town nestled between Hayden Lake and The Panhandle National Forest, two ​friends, AJ & Chad, found their greatest joy in the great outdoors. They shared a deep ​appreciation for the simple things: the crackle of a campfire, the warmth of its glow, ​and the comfort it brought after a day of Fishing, Hunting, Camping or Boating.

AJ & Chad noticed that many of their fellow outdoorsmen (and wives) struggled with ​starting campfires, especially in damp or windy conditions. They often found ​themselves helping others, using tricks they had picked up over the years to coax a ​stubborn fire into life. It was during one of these shared moments, Flyfishing on the ​Yellowstone River in Montana, while sitting around a fire they had just kindled, that the ​idea struck them: What if they could create something that made starting a fire easy for ​everyone?

With that spark of inspiration, they set out to create a product that would not only be ​reliable but also eco-friendly and easy to use. They spent months researching and ​testing different materials, driven by their passion for both nature and craftsmanship. ​After countless trials, they finally developed a fire starter that met their high standards​—one that could ignite easily, burn steadily, and work in any weather condition.

Fired Up was a hit among their friends and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Encouraged by ​the positive feedback, AJ and Chad decided to turn their passion into a business.
